The series Deconstructing Facades and the Fallacies within Narratives of the Past, Present, and Future is the physical manifestation of an emotional response to the processing of the written recordings of a time. By intentionally mishandling these functional objects and through the removal of their innards, I aim to devalue the power within these historical teaching tools of oppression and in turn, subvert the framing of obsolete perspectives.
